Two injured in early morning accident

       An accident early this morning at Smith Valley Road and State Road 37 sent an Anderson couple to St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.  Medical personnel on the scene said the driver, Earl Norrad, 59, suffered internal injuries. Norrad’s wife, Mary, 58, had a possible broken leg and possible concussion. The Norrads were first taken to Johnson County Memorial Hospital, Franklin, and later transferred to St. Vincent. The couple’s two daughters, who were riding in the back seat, were not injured. The car struck a truck, van and utility pole in the accident. Police did not have complete details of the accident before noon today.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
