Youths arrested after traffic accident

       Three youths were injured and arrested for illegal possession of alcohol after they were in a traffic accident Monday night. According to a report at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, Fredrick A. Featherstone, 18, Greenwood Route Four, was driving east in County Road 900 north about 11 p.m., Monday. Featherstone lost control of his car about 1,500 feet west of State Road 135 in White River Township, police said, swerved off the road and struck a utility pole. Featherstone and his passengers, Gary W. Featherstone, 18, Greenwood, and Larry D. Fettinger, 18, 4834 Welton St., Greenwood, suffered leg and arm injuries in the accident, according to the report. Two of the teens were taken by White River Volunteer ambulance to Johnson County Memorial Hospital, Franklin, where they were treated and released.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
