Rescuers free accident victim

       Rescue crews from the White River Township and Perry Township (Marion County) fire departments and the Johnson County Sheriff's Department worked for about 40 minutes Tuesday afternoon to free William Carrico from the driver's seat of his Chevrolet El Camino, where he was trapped following a single-fatality automobile accident.  Carrico, a resident of the Critchfield subdivision in White River Township, was listed in "good" condition this morning at St. Francis Hospital Center.  He was taken thee after the rescue workers freed him through the use of a power extracation tool supplied by the Perry Township firemen.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal).
