Two treated for smoke inhalation

A state trooper and White River Township firefighter were treated for smoke inhalation today following a fire at the Glendale Trailer Court off County Line Road.  Kevin Poe of the Indiana State Police and Pat McDaniel of the fire department were treated at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.  According to a fire department spokesman, the fire destroyed a mobile home owned by Bill Goins. Goins rented the trailer to Rebecca Wooline.  The spokesman said firefighters found the fire burning in two separate locations in the trailer when they arrived. After Mrs. McDaniel extinguished a fire on the living room couch, she opened the bedroom door and found the room completely engulfed in flames. Fireman said the trailer was a total loss. Officials are investigating to find the cause of the blaze.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
