Man suffers stab wound
A
man was treated and released at St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove early this
morning for a stab wound he received in a fight in an Indianapolis bar. Johnson
County sheriff’s officials said Peter M. Jacob, 33, Lot 106, Wheel Estates,
Greenwood, notified them of incident at 12:09 a.m. from his residence. Police
said when a unit arrived at the residence Jacob lay on the kitchen floor
bleeding profusely from a stab wound in the chest near the heart. He stated that
he had been involved in a fight at Mr. G’s an Indianapolis tavern. He gave no
more details of the incident, police said. Myers ambulance service and the White
River Fire Department assisted at the residence.
