Master firefighters graduate

      Graduates of a master firefighter course at Greenwood Fire Department gather for a ceremony Saturday at the city’s Fry Road station.  Pictured in front, from left, are Pat Babbs, program coordinator for the State Commission on Firefighting Standards and Education; Pat McDaniel, White River Fire Department; Al Wright, Greenwood Fire Department, and Norman Stickford, Greenwood.  In back, from left, are class instructor John Crump, Greenwood; Jim Harvey, Greenwood; David McDaniel, White River, and Bob Wehrman, White River.  The firefighters completed the state certified 60 hours course on fire prevention and building inspection practices.  The graduates have completed two prerequisite courses.  Absent from the ceremony Saturday were Mike Hughes and George Melton, assistant fire chiefs at Greenwood.
