2 Injured as trusses topple
Two men
injured when trusses on a church building collapsed were reported in stable
condition today in St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove. Herschel Adams and
Darrel Hebron, both of Greenwood, fell about thirty feet from the trusses about
9:30 a.m. yesterday. Adams suffered two broken arms and possible fractured ribs
and Hebron suffered a possible fractured pelvis. John Fancher of Greenwood also
fell, but escaped injury. The trusses were being put up on the Suburban Baptist
Church and School multi-purpose building on County Line Road west of Greenwood
