Firemen elect board members

       Board members for the White River Township Volunteer Fire Department were elected recently, and new Chief Dale Bancroft appointed 12 people to serve in other ranks. Other board members elected with Bancroft to serve for the next year included Bob Henry, Assistant Chief; Jerry Harrington, Chairman; Tom Morford, Treasurer; and Larry Robinson, Secretary. Bancroft’s appointments included Steve Shelton and Dave McDaniel, Captains; Harrington and Pat McDaniel, Lieutenants; Dave McDaniel and Joe McAllister, Arson Investigators; Howard Bennis and Rusty Allanson, Communication officers; Ronne Hart and Rick Cooley, EMS officers; Pat McDaniel and Bennis, Public Relations’ officers.  Kevin Demaree, Loren Scott, and Rodney Pollard were appointed to take care of truck maintenance.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
