Getting rid of ants hazardous

White River Township firefighters were called to 50 Tarry Court in the Carefree subdivision this morning after a fire erupted in a garage at the residence. Firefighters said the blaze, at the Ed Drinkert residence was put out by the owner with a garden hose before firemen arrived at 8:08 a.m. They said Drinkert was apparently trying to get rid of ants around the structure by pouring gasoline around the foundation. The gasoline ignited when a water heater came on. Damage to the structure was minor(Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
