Two injured in accidents
Two persons received minor injuries in two accidents investigated by Johnson County sheriff's officials Saturday and Sunday. Vicky Lasiter, 33, Mooresville, received slight head and neck injuries in the Sunday accident at 3:30 p.m. at Fairview Road and Leisure Lane in White River Township. She was a passenger in a car driven by Harry W. Lasiter, 33, also of Mooresville, that was struck by another vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Brewer, 16, 807 Leisure Lane, Greenwood. The Brewer vehicle had brake problems, according to Johnson County sheriff's reports.
In the Saturday wreck at 11:30 p.m. on State Road 37, eight miles south of
County Line Road in White River township, another passenger, Zola Buntzol, 60,
received minor injuries to her knees. She was riding in a 1966 model sedan
driven by Albert Eugene Thompson, 58, Indianapolis, that was struck in the rear
by a 1970 model hardtop driven by Donald Lee Mack, 17, Indianapolis.
Police said Mack apparently fell asleep while he was driving.
