White River fish fryers
The White River Township Volunteer Fire Department held a fish fry Friday, Saturday and Sunday at a lot on State Road 135, just north of Smith Valley Road. Among firemen drafted to fry the fish and French fries were Bob Wehrman (left in photo below) and Jerry Harrington. Firemen reported good community response to the first fish fry they have held in several years, with large crowds Friday night and Saturday. (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
