William Wehrman dies Wednesday

       William F. Wehrman, 74, Greenwood, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1905 in Westfaden, Germany, he came to the United States in 1923. He was married to Maritta (Pence) Wehrman. He was a member of the Preussen Society and the Heimontz Society. He was employed as supervisor of alterations at L.S. Ayres and Co. for 44 years. Services will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at N.F. Chance Funeral Home, 504 E. National Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will by in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Richard Fraser will officiate and friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday. Survivors include two sons, Robert Wehrman, Greenwood and Richard Wehrman, Danville; one sister, Minna Tieman, Germany and eight grandchildren.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
