Farmhouse burns

       Fire destroyed a farmhouse near Whiteland last night. The fire was reported at 10:20 p.m. and more than thirty firefighters from Whiteland, Needham, White River Township and Greenwood battled the blaze. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at more than $15,000. Investigators are searching for a cause. Firefighters said the property was owned by Merl Henry, Franklin, and rented.
