One hurt in crash

A 45-year-old man suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:30 p.m. Friday in White River Township. Driver Charles D. Webb, Morgantown Route One, suffered a possible broken leg when his 1972 Ford struck a tree broadside, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Hall. Webb was transported from the scene, at County Roads 625 W and 144 by Myers Ambulance Service, Greenwood. He was treated at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove. Passenger Carolyn Sue Webb, 43, same address, also complained of back injuries following the accident, but she refused treatment.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
