Two-car accident occurs

       A Greenwood woman suffered minor injuries Thursday in a two-car accident on Fairview Road west of State Road 135. Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies said Kathie M. Scherer, 20, 4018 Summit Ridge Drive, Greenwood, was traveling west on Fairview Road when she was involved in a collision with a car driven by Cindy K. Honeyman, 20, 462 Green Valley Drive, Greenwood, which was pulling out of the North Grove Elementary School parking lot. Deputy John Price said ice covered pavement was a factor in the accident. Ms. Scherer was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where she was treated and released. The White River Township Fire Department and Myers Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
