Woman injured
A 31-year-old Indianapolis woman suffered head and neck injuries Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on Greenwood Road. Victim Maria P. Sauer was injured when she lost control of her 1973 Toyota and it slid off the icy road about 1,200 feet east of State Road 135. According to Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies, the Sauer vehicle collided with a fence and two posts on Dr. F. Luke Chiu’s property about 4:30 p.m. Ms. Sauer was reportedly treated on the scene by Myers Ambulance attendants and transported to St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove.
