Battling a barn fire

       Firefighters from White River Township, Bargersville and Perry Township spent almost six hours Saturday battling a spectacular barn fire at the Jefferson M. Patterson farm on Morgantown Road near Olive Branch Road. Filled with hay and straw, as well as other items, the barn fire could be seen from many miles away. Two neighbors, Roger and Lisa Cole were credited with leading several cattle from the blazing barn.
