Ice causes crash

       Icy roads are blamed in an early morning accident today.  The vehicle left the roadway, struck a utility pole and came to rest on the side of the road.  The utility pole and a transformer fell after the crash.  The accident also caused the vehicles rear axle to be ripped from the chassis.  No word on injuries at press time.
