Also among the new officers are; Dave Fishell, White River Township, assistant director; jack Matthews, Franklin, treasurer, and Pat McDaniel, secretary. Mike Moore, Amity, was named Johnson County’s representative for the group. Other county representatives named at the bi-monthly meeting held at Bargersville were Austin Brown, Fruitdale, Brown County, and James Bruner, Mooresville, Morgan County. The group discussed plans to sponsor a training program in the three counties and providing training instructors. They also held a discussion about holding a recruit school in March at Mooresville in Harrison Township as well as classes on fire instruction and basic arson investigation. More information will be delivered to individual fire departments.
