Teen-ager hurt in accident

A 16-year-old White River Township youth was slightly injured Thursday evening in a single-car crash on Olive Branch Road. Michael W. Cox, 1714 Brier Rabbit Drive, suffered slight head injuries as a result of the crash which occurred around 5:30 p.m. According to Indiana State Trooper Mel Walker, the youth lost control of his car as it attempted to negotiate a crooked section of the road west of the Illinois Central Golf railroad tracks.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
