Greenwood area woman injured
A rural Greenwood
woman was injured Wednesday in a two-car accident about 2:30 p.m. at the
intersection of Fairview and Bluff Roads, Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies
said. Deputy Rick Stephens said Gladys S. Stevens, 53, Greenwood Route Four, was
unconscious when he arrived at the scene. Stephens said she was transported to
St. Francis Hospital, where she was treated and later released. Mrs. Stevens was
traveling west on Fairview Road at the time of the accident, Stephens said, and
was involved in a collision with a farm truck driven by George Adrian, 29,
Indianapolis. Adrian was not injured, Stephens said. The White River Township
rescue unit and Myers Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
