Milk shakes

A faulty road shoulder is being partially blamed for an early morning crash which didn’t injure anyone, but destroyed several thousand pints of milk destined for the Center Grove Schools. Truck driver Ron W. Patterson, 21, Indianapolis, said that he was westbound on Smith Valley Road when his front right tire left the pavement, and because there was no berm, the truck completely tipped over. The accident occurred right around 8 a.m. just west of the intersection of with Morgantown Road. According to one Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy at the scene, the lack of berms on county roads is a frequent contributor to traffic accidents.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
