Preparing for sale day
A contingent of White River volunteer firemen and their families loaded a barn full of rummage sale items on a semi-trailer Thursday night to deliver to their sale site. The White River auxiliary will host the rummage sale today at Bargain Bob’s field on State Road 135. Proceeds will help buy fire equipment. Among workers Thursday were Diana and Scott Wire, with backs to camera; Cindy Wehrman, daughter of Fire Chief Bob Wehrman, Fire department Chairman Larry Robinson; Tessie Wehrman and Bill Wire. Area residents donated articles for the sale. (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
