Cyclist hurt in accident
An Indianapolis man was slightly injured in a collision between a car and the motorcycle he was driving about 5 p.m. Friday at the intersection of State Road 135 and Fry Road (County Road 950N) according to Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies. Garry A. Malott, 23, Indianapolis, was treated and released at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. For injuries to his left ankle, authorities said. Deputies said Malott was southbound on State Road 135 and was apparently attempting to make a left turn onto Fry Road when he was involved in a collision with a car driven by Vicki L. Mullins, Greenwood Route Four. Deputies said the woman was apparently attempting to make a left turn from Fry Road onto State Road 135. The White River Township rescue squad assisted at the scene.
