Four injured in two wrecks
Three men were treated and released at Johnson County Hospital following a reported three-car pile up at Olive Branch Road and State Road 135 at 9:59 a.m. Monday. Three and one-half hours later, one man was slightly injured in an accident just north of that site. Injured in the first accident were Stanley Guerecki, 56, 605 Restin Road, Greenwood, who suffered neck and back injuries; Rajko Vidov, 23, 606 Elbow Bend Road, Greenwood, who sustained injuries to his left leg and Philip Woods, 19, Whiteland who was taken to the hospital for observation. The three men were treated at the scene by White River Township rescue workers and taken to the hospital by Myers Ambulance. In the second accident at 1:30 p.m. Larry Trumball, 36, Columbia City, was treated at the scene for unspecified injuries by White River Township ambulance crews. The accident reportedly involved a motorcycle. No details of the accidents were available. (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
