Quick action saves infant
A two and
one-half-month-old White River Township infant is in fair condition at St.
Francis Hospital in Beech Grove due to lifesaving efforts this morning of his
father, White River Township rescue workers and the Myers Ambulance rescue
squad. According to reports on the incident, Dan Gribler, 1866 Skyline Drive,
Greenwood, had gone in to check on his infant son David about 6:45 a.m. and
found that he was not breathing. The father administered resuscitation and
called rescue workers, who arrived at the scene in a short time. The infant was
taken to the hospital and admitted to the pediatrics ward immediately.
