Donations sought for rummage sale
Donations are
presently being accepted by the White River Township Volunteer Fire Department
for their third annual summer rummage sale, which will be held August 20.
Proceeds from the sale will help to buy new equipment for the departments’ new
tanker truck, which is now on order. Last year, over $1,000 was raised by the
sale of donated items to buy new coats and helmets for the White River
firefighters. The sale will be held in the open field between Union Federal Bank
and Trust and Bargain Bob’s on State Road 135. Sale time will be 7 a.m. to 6
p.m. Persons who wish to donate items for the rummage sale are ask to call Bob
Wire at 888-7170. The department will arrange to pick up the items.
