Girl injured in fall
A
15-year-old Greenwood girl is reported in satisfactory condition at St. Francis
Hospital in Beech Grove with injuries she suffered Monday in a fall from a
vehicle. According to State Police Trooper Dan Logsdon, who investigated the
accident, Sheila Girton, 15, 3387 Stella Drive, Greenwood, suffered lacerations
to her head and abrasions when she fell from a truck in which she was riding at
4 p.m. Monday on County Road 200W near County Road 850N. The girl reportedly
fell from the truck as it rounded a corner and landed on the roadway. The driver
of the truck was listed as Karl Bruhn, 18, 842 West Worthsville Road, Greenwood.
Miss Girton was transported to the hospital by Myers Ambulance. White River
Township workers were called to the scene.
