Woman golfer injured when struck by club
The
White River Township rescue squad and Myers Ambulance were called Monday to the
Orchard Golf Center, State Road 135, after a woman golfer was accidentally
struck with a golf club. The woman, Mrs. Irene Temple, 56, Indianapolis, was
treated and released at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove after she suffered a
laceration on the forehead. Further details of the incident were not available.
