Thomas Johnson dies at son's home

       A California man visiting his son in the Greenwood area died Saturday after suffering a heart attack, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies. The victim was identified as Thomas M. Johnson, 66, San Luis Obispo, California. Authorities said Johnson and his wife were visiting at the home of James Johnson, 5191 Center Drive in the Mt. Pleasant Addition near Greenwood. Sheriff’s deputies reported that Johnson apparently suffered a heart attack while taking a shower about 11:51 a.m. Saturday. The White River Township rescue unit and a Myers ambulance were called to the scene after the body was discovered. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by Johnson County Coroner Richard E.
