Construction worker hurt

A 29-year-old Indianapolis construction worker was injured about 11 a.m. today when dirt caved into a hole in which he was working on sewer lines in the Whispering Pines subdivision. Reginald Edwards was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove after he suffered chest injuries in the incident. Rescue workers from White River Township treated the man at the scene and he was transported by Myers Ambulance. Officials said he was conscious and his injuries were not believed serious. Edwards was working at a new home site in the addition at County Line and Peterman Roads.  (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)
