Stolen car set on fire

       A 1970 Ford which was allegedly stolen from a Greenwood area man was discovered by Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies responding to report of a car fire about 12:08 a.m. Saturday, according to a report on the incident. Deputies reported that the vehicle had apparently been stolen earlier that night from the William Goins residence, Greenwood route two, Lot 109. It was discovered about one-half mile from the residence on Peterman Road south of County Line Road, according to the report. The report indicated that the interior of the vehicle had been gutted by the fire. The White River Township Fire Department responded to the call.
