Mobile home destroyed
White
River Township Volunteer firefighters battled a blazing fire in a mobile home in
the Wheel Estates Trailer Park late Wednesday and early this morning. Shortly
before midnight, Lester Yates was looking outside his own trailer when he
noticed that a neighbor’s mobile home was on fire. Yates pounded on the door of
the mobile home until he awakened owner Gary Blackleege, who was asleep while
the fire raged in another part of the mobile home. Investigators believe that
faulty electrical wiring may have caused the fire which caused an estimated
$12,000 damage.
