White River fire, aid runs reported

       White River township firemen made three first aid runs and extinguished a car fire over the weekend. The auto fire occurred about 10 a.m. Saturday on lot 359 in Wheel Estates. Owner of the auto, which was damaged at about $400, was Ruth Loveall. The first aid runs were on Sunday. At 6:18 p.m. firemen assisted police at the scene of a personal injury accident at the intersection of State Roads 37 and 144. The second run was at 10:58 p.m. on County Road 600 West near Stones Crossing. A two-week-old baby. Lori Saylor, who was reportedly choking, was treated. Firemen were called to the Herschell Hester residence in the Critchfield addition on Greenwood route five at 11:07 p.m. Hester was taken to St. Vincent's hospital by private ambulance.  See related story and photo HERE (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)
