Fire destroys house trailer
A house trailer
valued at more than $15,000 was destroyed in a fire early this morning in White
River Township. David Weltich, Greenwood route two, reportedly woke up and
fled from the house trailer before it was engulfed by flames. His car,
parked near the trailer, was also damaged in the fire. Members of the
White River Township Fire Department reported the fire occurred at 12:55 a.m.,
apparently as the result of ashes dumped in a trash container earlier in the
evening. The trailer was located in Wheel Estates on County Line Road near
State Road 135. No injuries were reported.
