Small child dies at home

Bryan Scott Weber, 14-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Weber, Greenwood route four, was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Franklin.  The county coroner has ruled the child's death as a "crib death."  The child was found unconscious in his bed by his parents about 9:20 a.m. Saturday morning.  A sheriff's deputy and rescue squad from the White River Volunteer Fire Department attempted to revive the boy, but he was dead on arrival at the hospital.

The child was born December 10, 1971 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove to LeRoy and Rosemary Nusbaum Weber.  Survivors include the parents; a brother, Michael Lee, at home; grandparents, Glen and Eloise Nusbaum of Indianapolis; and a grandfarther, Berl Weber of Greenwood.  Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m today by Rev. Lloyd Shannon of Smith Valley United Methodist Church at J.C. Wilson Greenwood Chapel.  Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
