Truck hit by freight train at railroad crossing
A
freight struck this 1973 Ford pickup truck at the Illinois Central Railroad
crossing on Smith Valley Road west of Greenwood about 6:45 a.m. today. Taken to
St. Francis Hospital with head injuries was the driver of the pick-up Bobby Joe
Fowler, 44, of Hartman, Arkansas. (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)
