Grass fire

       White River Township firemen were called to extinguish a grass fire near Green Valley Estates off Smith Valley Road on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. There was no damage reported. Firemen assisted state police at the scene of a hit-run fatality accident on State Road 135 at 9:55 p.m. Saturday.                                           (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)
