White River first aid runs over weekend
White
River volunteer firemen made three first aid runs to the scenes of traffic
accidents over the weekend. At 6:15 a.m. Saturday they were called to a crash on
Morgantown Road north of the Center Grove School, south of Smith Valley, and at
6:15 p.m. Saturday they were summoned to a two-car accident on State Road 135
near Stones Crossing (accident stories appear inside today’s newspaper). White
River firemen were also called at 3 a.m. Sunday to an accident north of Center
Grove. Vicky Faires and Robert Barr, no address listed, were taken to Johnson
County Memorial Hospital in Franklin by Myers ambulance. (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)
