White River firemen are called

       White River Township firemen were called to the scene of a personal injury traffic accident west of State Road 135 on Smith Valley Road at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday morning.  Charles Harold, 25, was taken to Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Franklin. Details of the accident investigated by sheriff’s authorities were not available. At 9 p.m. Tuesday night firemen from White River were called to the George Cox residence on Morgantown Road, (Greenwood route three). Fire in an electric range in the kitchen was out on their arrival, firemen said. No extensive damage occurred.  (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)
