Fire in house trailer, $6,000 damage
Damage
was estimated at $6,000 in a house trailer fire in White River Township early
Tuesday morning. Firemen said the fire occurred at the trailer of the John
Zimmerman family in Wheel Estates, west on State Road 135. Mrs. Zimmerman and a
child were reportedly in the trailer when the fire broke out, but both escaped
serious injury. The fire is reported to have started in the bedroom area. There
was smoke and heat damage throughout the trailer, but firemen said most of the
fire damage was confined to the bedroom. Firemen were at the scene more than two
hours. The fire alarm was answered at 1 a.m.
