First aid run in White River

       White River Township firemen made a first aid run to Nance Lane off Morgantown Road, Sunday at 12:35 p.m. Gloria White, rural Greenwood, was injured in a sledding accident. She was taken to Johnson County Memorial Hospital for treatment.   (Reprinted with permission of the Daily Journal)

        The accompanying letter and photo were sent to the fire station several days later following the accident:
