Firemen awards given at dinner

       Retirement certificates were given to four members of the White River Township Volunteer Fire Department at a Christmas dinner recently.  Left to right:  Fire Chief Robert Wehrman; Russell Young (19 years); Robert Raber (14 years); Robert Harris (13 years); Ed Hinkle (13 years); Santa Claus, who arrived with flashing lights and siren to the delight of the children at the dinner, and Robert Kelso.  Chief Wehrman presented the certificates to the four firemen who totaled almost 60 years of service to the community.  (Courtesy of the Daily Journal)
