Two fire runs in White River
White River township firemen made
two fire runs in the Mt. Pleasant addition Monday. At 5:15 p.m. Mrs.
Bonnie Hayden summoned firemen after a fire in the kitchen of the Hayden home
broke out. Firemen said a pan of grease on an electric stove ignited,
causing damage throughout the kitchen. Firemen were called to the Robert
Hick residence at 10:20 a.m. Monday morning. No extensive damage was
reported while a member of the family was attempting to light a fireplace.
