Volunteers assist power line break
The White River Volunteer Firemen
answered a call at 4 a.m. today to the scene of a downed power line, probably
resulting from weather conditions, west of Road 135 on Smith Valley Road.
The firemen reported that Public Service Indiana was also called to the scene
and shut down electrical service in sections of the Smith Valley area to repair
the damaged line. Total power was restored by 6 a.m., according to firemen.
No injuries or damages were reported. (Courtesy of the Daily Journal)
