Fire sweeps Browning's Orchard Market
Fire swept the Browning Orchard
Market in the 100 Block of North State Road 135 west of Greenwood late Monday
morning. The market building also housed the Browning Lawn and Garden
Center. Firefighters from White River Township, Greenwood, Perry Township,
and Bargersville were summoned to the blaze. Large billows of smoke could
be seen several miles away. The fire of undetermined origin broke out
shortly before 11 a.m. Damage is expected to run into thousands of
