Department signs contract
The
Smith’s Valley Volunteer Fire Department officially entered into a contract to
provide fire protection services to White River Township. The contract is
effective immediately and will terminate on January 1, 1956 when a new contract
is anticipated to be signed. Fire Chief Joseph Porter signed the agreement that
was drawn up by attorney James Archer with White River Township Trustee Maurice
Paddock. A copy of the contract is shown below. You can download a copy
